Q. Will the TELMAX Galaxy Series and the TELMAX Odyssey Series Teleprompter's work with my camera?
A. Yes, both of our teleprompter lines (the Telmax Odyssey Series, and the Telmax Galaxy Series) will work with any size camera, big or small.
Q. How do I know which Teleprompter will work best for me?
A. This depends on your shooting environment, if you are doing a lot of moving around with your Teleprompter, we recommend that you go with the Galaxy Series Teleprompters because of their light weight design. If you are in a more stationary shooting situation then the Odyssey Series can be a good choice because of the savings. Q. How does a Teleprompter work?
A. A teleprompter creates a scrolling text in front of the camera lens that is viable to the subject being filmed and not to the camera itself. The advantage to using a Teleprompter is that when the subject is reading from the teleprompter they are looking directly into the lens of the camera, where if they were reading from notes or cue cards it would be obvious that they are looking away from the camera. The objective of using a Teleprompter is to have your subject read a script without the viewer knowing about it. Teleprompter's are commonly used for television in news rooms, game shows, talk shows, and many other recorded events.
Q. What is the difference between a Stage Prompter (Presidential Prompter) and a Teleprompter?
A. A stage prompter does the same thing that a Teleprompter does except for one thing; Stage Prompters do not normally have cameras filming directly through them. Instead, they have a clear Two-Way mirror that is visible to the camera as it pans across the stage but the scrolling text is only viable to the reader.

Q. How come there is only a downloadable version of your software?
A. To keep down the costs of our great products we only provide a downloadable version; however, if our customers do want a hard copy there is nothing stopping them from printing the installation files to a CD once they have been downloaded from our server.

Q. Is there a warranty on your products?
A. All products manufactured by Gilbert and Company Inc come standard with a three year limited warranty. You may contact us to discuss any limitations on the warranty of the product you are interested in.

Q. How do I get my software?
A. When you made your purchase you created an account. Log into your account and your ZaPrompt Pro Serial Number and the download will in the download section of your account.
Q. The Serial Number I got with ZaPrompt Pro won't work to activate the software?
A. Often times our customers confuse the Serial Number they get when they complete their purchase for the Activation Key for ZaPrompt Pro. Every copy of ZaPrompt Pro comes standard with 4 activations that can be done by the owner. There is an activation process that takes the serial number mentioned above, and converting it to an activation key. The entire process is spelled out at the top of the page under the “Links” heading.
